As a solo traveler with a penchant for serenity, I found myself at the Parkhotel Waldeck while accompanying my family on vacation. The hotel showcases a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for families seeking comfort and connection. Our clean, well-designed room, complete with a balcony overlooking the tranquil forest, offered a cozy retreat after our daily adventures. During our stay, we discovered the myriad of activities available. While I had hoped to challenge my family to a game of table tennis or billiards, we often found ourselves enjoying the beautiful surroundings instead. The proximity to the Hochschwarzwald Golf Club and the Feldberg Ski Resort provided options for both relaxation and adventure, catering to all skill levels. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful variety of options including the unique experience of squeezing our own orange juice. We felt truly accommodated, even as health protocols were respected. The hotel's facilities, such as the sauna and reading room, enhanced our stay and provided spaces for rejuvenation. Parkhotel Waldeck proved to be a comfortable and engaging experience for my family, leaving us with cherished memories and the desire to return.
